Swanage 5k and 10K event 2020

What better way to banish the January blues and work off those mince pies, than entering our Swanage 5k or 10k event on Sunday 12th January, 2020. This undulating route takes in the picturesque views over the town and countryside.

How to Enter:

Online Registration preferred (Entrants allowed on the day £12 for 5k, £15 for 10k. Cash only ). We are using fullonsport this year to administer our race to make registration and the running of the day smoother and more accurate.

How much is it to Enter:

£12 adult 10k (£15 on the day, cash only)

£10 adult 5k   (£12 on the day, cash only)

(plus online booking fee)

Minimum age 16 years

Closing Date for Entry:

11th January, 2020.

What time does it start?

Race Briefing at 9.15am at the football club

10km start first 10am, 5km to follow at 10.15am

Chip and Race number will be available to pick up at registration.

What’s the route?

5km route undulating route around the roads and lanes of Swanage. Repeat the route for the 10km

Anything else I need to know?

We’ve changed the route from previous years, with the start/finish line to be behind Days Park on Northbrook Road, and 2 x loops of 5Km. This is to ensure runner safety by minimising crossing of roads and impact on local traffic.

Check that your age and club have been correctly registered. Results will be published by age group. The MINIMUM AGE FOR ENTRY IS 16 YEARS. There are no age categories for the 5K run.

Prizes will be awarded for the Fastest Overall Man and Woman and the fastest Veteran (60+) Man and Woman in the 10K event.

All finishers will receive a medal and free refreshments are offered to all participants at the Football Club after the event
